Terms of Use
Effective August 31, 2026
NearPair is an early-preview release. Bluetooth behavior differs by accessory and macOS version, so compatibility with every device is not guaranteed.
License
A personal NearPair license permits one purchaser to install and use the app on unlimited personal Macs they own or control. The license is non-transferable and may not be resold, shared publicly or used to redistribute the app.
Early Preview
Your purchase includes future NearPair product updates made generally available to personal-license customers. Features may change as hardware compatibility and macOS behavior are tested. Material limitations will be disclosed rather than hidden.
Compatibility
NearPair recognizes compatible nearby advertisements and uses macOS Bluetooth capabilities for pairing or reconnection. Some accessories may require Bluetooth Settings, manual confirmation or manufacturer-specific steps. NearPair is independent software and is not affiliated with Google, Apple, Xiaomi or other accessory manufacturers.
Payments and refunds
Polar processes checkout, tax, receipts and refunds as Merchant of Record. Any refund eligibility shown during checkout forms part of your purchase terms. Contact product support first if an accessory does not behave as expected.
Warranty
To the extent permitted by law, NearPair is provided “as is” without warranties of uninterrupted operation or universal hardware compatibility. Nothing here limits rights that cannot legally be excluded.
