Privacy Policy

NearPair is designed to keep Bluetooth discovery and device information on your Mac. We do not operate an advertising profile or sell personal information.

Information processed by the app

Nearby Bluetooth advertisements, accessory names, signal strength, connection status and supported battery values are processed locally to provide the setup experience. NearPair does not upload a history of nearby devices.

Purchases

Checkout, tax, receipts and product delivery are provided by Polar as our Merchant of Record. Polar may process your email address, billing details, payment information and related transaction data under its own privacy terms. NearPair does not receive or store your full card details.

Diagnostics

NearPair keeps a bounded local diagnostic log. Accessory names are redacted from exported reports by default. A report leaves your Mac only when you choose to send it.

Website hosting

This website is hosted through Vercel, which may process ordinary network information such as IP address, browser type and request logs needed to deliver and secure the site. We do not currently add third-party advertising or behavioral analytics.
